Monalisa and Sourav’s destination wedding was a beautiful blend of traditions, travel, and togetherness. Set in the coastal city of Puri, their celebration was much more than just a wedding—it was an unforgettable journey that began long before the rituals.

We had the privilege of documenting the journey of Sourav’s family from Kolkata to Puri by train. From the excitement at Howrah Station to the laughter throughout the overnight journey, every moment reflected the anticipation of the celebrations ahead. Sourav’s family shared their excitement about the wedding, while his friends made sure he had no chance to sit quietly, filling the journey with endless fun, teasing, and laughter.

As the train reached Puri the next morning, the celebrations began instantly. Once everyone arrived at the resort, both families came together with unmatched warmth and energy, turning every moment into a memory worth preserving.

Over the next two days, every ceremony—from the Maira to the Sangeet, Haldi, and Wedding—was filled with joy. Whenever there was a break between rituals, Monalisa and Sourav couldn’t resist creating more memories in front of our cameras. Every corner of the resort, every candid laugh, and every stolen glance became a part of their story.

One of the most heartwarming moments came during the Haldi ceremony when Sourav’s entire family surprised Monalisa with a special performance dedicated just to her. Watching the groom’s family welcome the bride with so much love and warmth made it an emotional moment not only for the couple but for our entire team as well.

This wedding held a special place in our hearts because it never felt like we were working for a client. We had already documented several celebrations for Sourav’s family over the years, and by the time this wedding arrived, it truly felt like we were celebrating with our own family.

From the train journey to beachside moments, late-night celebrations at the resort, and the wedding ceremonies themselves, every chapter of this destination wedding was beautifully planned and filled with genuine emotions.
